What inspired me to start the Father & Sons Foundation 50 years ago?

My father took me to school, five grades after school opened, almost two weeks in advance. I was the last one in the class and they had already started teaching English. This demonstrated my father's commitment to education and the priority he placed on it despite the financial struggles we faced.

 

In honor of my father and his commitment to education, in the year 2019  I proposed to my brother that we set up an education fund. We established the Father & Son Foundation and registered it as a legal foundation. We took advantage of the 80th anniversary of Ban Khlong Khut School Wat Khuan Mai Daeng to launch a scholarship on behalf of the Father & Sons Foundation. Although the funds were limited, it was our hope to inspire and encourage poor children and their parents. This is a bond that will continue to grow over time, from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands To further support the education of these children, we also offer free English tutoring on Saturdays and Sundays. We use a modern teaching system that incorporates technology to make learning fun and engaging.
